Job Role: Service Advisor
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 Per Year
Location: Shelby, NC
Type: Full Time

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will act as the liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient vehicle maintenance. This is a commission based role and the earning potential is significant.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
• Provide accurate estimates for automotive services and repairs
• Upsell products and services
• Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on their vehicle status
• Communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Recommend additional services based on vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized service area

Skills Needed:

• Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues
• CDK Knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients
• Proficiency in automotive sales to promote services effectively
• Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain financial records
• Experience in auto estimating for accurate service quotes
• Familiarity with tire services and oil changes
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus
• Service technician background is beneficial for understanding repair processes
