Location: Noblesville, IN
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 Per Hour (Flat Rate)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:We are recruiting for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our client’s growing dealership service team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and is looking for consistent workflow, strong earning potential, and long-term career growth.
You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, emissions, and drivability concerns.
  • Repair and service diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and related components.
  • Diagnose and repair turbocharger, aftertreatment, and emissions systems.
  • Use OEM diagnostic equipment and repair information to identify faults accurately.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
  • Document work performed and communicate findings clearly.
  • Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Stay current with manufacturer training and evolving diesel technology.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Diesel Technician, Automotive Technician, or Diesel Mechanic.
  • Strong diesel diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Experience working with modern diesel engines and emissions systems.
  • Dealership or OEM experience preferred.
  • ASE and manufacturer certifications preferred but not required.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and electronic repair information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, professional, and motivated.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
