Position: Automotive Technician
Location: Hampton, VA
Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

The Opportunity:
Do you take pride in solving problems under the hood? Our client is searching for a reliable and skilled Automotive Technician to become part of their dedicated service team. You’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles – ensuring customers leave the shop confident in the work done.
 
 
 
 
Day-to-Day Duties:

• Conduct general maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Use modern diagnostic technology to identify issues.
• Ensure repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers.
• Keep your bay tidy and tools in top shape.
• Continue learning through training and certifications.

 
 
 
 
What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus).
• Solid background as a technician, mechanic, or related role.
• ASE Certification is a big advantage.
• Great problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong understanding of current automotive technology.
• A self-starter who works well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
